So... it has been a long time since I last did an update but I hope this is a new feature you will all like. I have made a Fish Guide like the one in the game. A bit more information is added though and I hope this will help you get the information you need when you are trying to catch fish or completing your log. I really want this to be the go to place for fishers when looking for information on where and how to catch fish.

The guide looks exactly like the one in the game but you will also find a "best setup" that is meant as a recomendation on how to best catch the fish. This may always be up for debate but if you disagree please write it in the comments and let everyone know.

I am planning on adding a dropdown-list that will make it easier to go to a specific fish but the address bar is really helpful until then. Just write the #name-of-the-fish (replacing spaces with "-").

I have not yet entered best setup for all the fish but it will come in the coming days. I have entered for almost half and I have tried to focus on the most interesting fish as these are the ones people need to know how to find.

Welcome to Disciples of the land, a resource of everything in Final Fantasy XIV (FFXIV). We are dedicated to bringing you all the information you need if you want to spent some time in Final Fantasy XIV (FFXIV). We mainly focus on gathering (fishing, mining and logging) but also have information for the rest of you.

We aim at having a complete database of all the tools, items and areas in Final Fantasy XIV in order to help you easily find the excact item you need ingame. We provide the recipes of what to do with the items if you wish to process them instead of just selling them. So if you are a blacksmith, goldsmith, alchemist, culinarian, tanner, leatherworker or clothcrafter we have information on what to do with all those items you collect while fullfilling your role as a Disciple of the Land.

We also have the best maps with information on the resource points in the game. Another helpful feature for all who wants to turn in items to the guilds of Final Fantasy XIV is our Guild Item Table. This will let you know what you need to turn in right now as well as information on the complete pattern. By checking out this helpful table you will not need to travel to the guild until you have gathered, crafted or bought(!?) the items needed. If you would rather turn your hard earned items into one of the three Grand Companies check out Grand Company Items list that will let you know what items are wanted by the Grand Companies of FFXIV this very moment.

Lastly we aim to provide the best guides for fishing, mining and botany. So far we only have a guide for fishing in Final Fantasy XIV but we hope to add all the guides as soon as possible. If there is information you need that are not yet found on the site you can use the forum as there is surely someone willing to help you with getting most out of Final Fantasy XIV (FFXIV).
