Hi all
We got the
resource maps for Final Fantasy XIV up and running. For the last couple of weeks the moderators have been busy working on placing as many resource points as possible. We are proud to present these maps to you and we really hope that you will love them.
The maps have certain features. Beside the map you will find options to sort and navigate them:
Choose map:So far there are five maps of FFXIV to choose from (Thanalan, La Noscea, the Black Shroud, Coethas and Mor Dhona). We hope to add more in the future but for now select one to get the map displayed.
Filter by item:Choose an item you would like to find. After selecting an item and pressing "Filter" you will only see the resource points where the chosen item can be obtained. This is great for finding the exact information you need. Are you looking for Crimson Crayfish just select it and you will know all the places these can be obtained.
Filter by grade:Filter all the resource points and lets you see the ones with the selected grade. This will help you find out where resource points that match your rank can be found and let you know where to go for most SP.
Filter by type:So far there are seven different type of points that can be displayed on the maps. We may add more in the future but given the context of the site these are the most relevant. Select one or more types (fishing, fishing school, mining, logging, spearfishing, quarry or harvesting) to see where these can be found.
All the filters can be combined. You may wish to find all grade 4 fishing spots that contain Dark Bass.
When you have found the resource points that are relevant to you they can be clicked to display information about what can be obtained at the spot. You will also get information about sweet spot and rank of the item. Lastly will be a link to the log (
read more about it here)
So far we still need to find a lot of resource points still but we hope you will enjoy the ones we have added so far.
I would also like to add that I have put an "Add this" button above the filtering options. I would appreciate it very much if you would share the maps with friends and people in your network.
Thanks to all the moderators who have worked hard on getting these up and running...
Now tell all your friends
