Howdy, For those that used to visit this site back in 1.0 you'll recall the feature we had here that would display which GCs were requesting certain items for turn-ins. I would like to see if I could drum up some interest in tracking this information across different servers for the different GCs to see if there's a pattern we can establish or if it's truly random. If you'd like to participate, please make a post using the following template: Server NameYour Grand CompanyEarth time day of the week (items reset at 5am PST daily I believe) Tradecraft / Your Level / Item Requested & Qty (i.e. Armorsmith 45 Cobalt Ingot x10) (for the above I'd like information on every craft and gathering level if possible) Ideally if I could get a couple people per GC each on different servers I think that'd give me a rough idea of what it looks like. If you could, please update your original post with the daily updates as to not spread out the information too much. When I get home from work tonight I'll start off with a post. This is awesome as I would love to implement that again. I know many people used it back for 1.0. I am going to see what I can get in Excalibur. |

I'll try to pitch in when I get home, but do people actually use these for anything anymore? The achievement rewards are no longer best in slot, and while the exp and seals are nice, since you can only do 1 turn-in per day (I could be wrong here, I've never bothered with it in ARR), it doesn't seem to be worth much compared to leves. You might also want to list the exp/seal rewards (it might only tell you how much exp you'd get?) so people looking at this list will know if the turn-in is worth their time. Server: Balmung Grand Company: Maelstrom Day: [This section to be updated later with items]
I'm just using a code block so everything lines up and is easier to read. Code:Class | Level | --- Item --- | - Exp - | Seals CRP ---- 50 --- BSM ---- 50 --- ARM ---- 50 --- GSM ---- 50 --- LTW ---- 50 --- WVR ---- 50 --- ALC ---- 50 --- CUL ---- 50 ---
MIN ---- 20 --- BTN ---- 50 --- FSH ---- 03 ---

I'm not sure how often these are used. I think it's just an extra resource that could be used during leveling up more so than accumulating seals, but the seal rewards are just about as good as a mid-level FATE in my experience. Items are often sold pretty cheaply on the AH, so I figured if we had something that had any kind of pattern at all, it'd be easy to stash some items when they're cheap to buy and use them to get some extra XP/seals towards your gathering and crafting classes. It seems to be that most of the crafts only require one item, with the exception of alchemy and culinarian as I've seen them require 3x items on some turn-ins. It appears it's not worth doing these at the 1-10 range, as the xp rewarded is less than that of a single synth. 11-20 seems to be the point in which it's somewhat worthwhile. 21-30 seems to be the sweetspot. Keep in mind you get a 50% XP bonus for HQ turn-ins as well. Edited by user Saturday, October 19, 2013 8:55:20 AM(UTC)

Well, rather than posting Saturday's items, I'll just say apart from the level 1 items, they were pretty much all different. So it could just be totally random. Edited by user Sunday, October 27, 2013 1:38:57 AM(UTC)
