Hi all

As Vicious has pointed out to me I think it is time to shut this thing down.

For four years we have tried to bring you information about gathering and to some extend crafting in FFXIV but as things are in my personal life I don't have the time needed for a site like this. Also, the official forums, reddit/r/ffxiv and others do not leave much space for other forums and while we have tried to specialize in gathering there has not been enough interest to keep the site going.

I have spent many hundreds of hours on developing for this site. First we tried to make a complete item database with recipes and all. Then we made a ressource locator to help people find items in the game. Later the maps were introduced and these really boosted the site. Since then the game was redesigned and I was not able to get a complete database but we kept focusing on gathering and the maps were redesigned and completed for ARR. The latest big thing was the fish guide that replicated the fish guide in the game along with maps and bait information for catching the fish.

I would love to keep the site up to date but there are so many people out there doing a much better job than I am so I think it is time for them to take over.

I have closed the forum for registrations but I will leave it here for all to view. There are some great threads here and an aboundance of information although most may be outdated.

Lastly I would like to thank every one who have helped the site out the last four years. A special thank you is to Vicious who has been with us since the start and the biggest supporter through it all.
