So i usually try to be positive in my posts but i been down about the future of crafting recently but i finally found some news. No not good news, GREAT news.
A certain Aquintence sent me this link to a crafting guide. http://ffxiv-roleplayers.com/showthread.php?tid=2482 It's alright nothing i didn't really know but then i get near the bottom of it. ಠ_ಠYou should see it for your self it for the Impatient.
So you can get 200% gil bonus for turning in HQ items to a tradescraft leve in the lvl 20 leve example they get triple the original reward because its 3 hq items which is nice BUT the interesting part is the npc Offers to "extend the contract" As long as you only turn in HQ items it allows you to do the same tradecraft leve WITHOUT SPENDING ANY LEVE ALLOWENCES! indefinitely
really hope they keep it in the full game. there weren't any tradescraft leves in the beta in limsa but next week i'll be sure to test this.Edited by user Sunday, June 30, 2013 1:37:22 PM(UTC)

Nice find. I am definitely looking forward to crafting again and always love incentives. Makes me feel like fishing will have it's hidden surprises as well. |

Very cool. I haven't really messed with crafting leves too much, but that's a nice incentive for crafters. |

I encountered that in Phase 2, but I didn't know what was causing it. I would like to know just how many times they tested with all HQ items and all NQ items, because I was under the impression in Phase 2 that it was completely random when they did this. I have a feeling it's a random-chance occurrence, but perhaps trading in all HQs forces the occurrence to 100% or something; I know in Phase 2 I didn't have enough HQ items to cause this as often as I saw it. Interesting. I guess I won't be able to test much of this in Beta since the supply of materials is non existing. I wonder how this will influence HQ prieces for mats and end products. The Gil reward doesn't seem to be much but for leveling a crafting class seeing the rise in XP seems to be a pretty interesting thing. I did however turn HQ's for GC supplies, and this did over a nice bonus in XP and seals, FYI. |
