Also, just wanted to repost SE's Beta Manual in pdf form. Had some others asking including myself wondering about a few of the hud components and wth they did. Most are self explanatory but like the focus target bar is very useful.

yeah it just posts up the links and titles of the posts but it's awesome to follow on twitter.. been using twitter a lot lately for 14 information/updates. Kida and I both use it if anyone else here wants to follow. Mine is in my sig.

They have a hud layout discussion on there. I use both controller and kb/mouse so I have the hotbar and cross hotbar. I haven't put up any macros yet so might end up doing away with cross bar later but I kinda like it. It just takes up more room even if it's at bottom of the screen. I'll have to move stuff around more if I had more hotbars vertical or horizontal. (forgot about using Shift + (number) for corresponding hotbar. Might just do that in stead of having multiple hotbars all over the screen.)

Plus you have to allow from some lists to come down further like pt and duties, etc. I thought about putting up a battle chat window separate from general. Saw someone do that too but takes up a lot of room. Not really necessary if you use filters I guess but having chat and battle separate be nice during events so your window isn't spamming up. If everyone is mic'd then just put it on battle.



disregard the extra hotbars after 1,2 and 7. Huh.. I noticed there are no shortcuts for Hotbar7 that is vertical but like hotbar 2 is ctrl+(number), hotbar 1 is just the (number) So the verts are just for mouse click only?
