I got bored and decided to log drops from monsters since I was looking for a couple crafting items earlier in the beta and didn't know where to get them.

This spreadsheet is by no means comprehensive, but I did make an effort to try to kill nearly every monster enough times to determine whether or not they drop an item. Humanoid and Beastmen mobs have been excluded since they only seem to drop gil. Also, the area where the monster was noted as being isn't necessarily the only area it can appear in a zone. It just happens to be the first place I encountered it.

If a mob has a full row of blanks next to it, chances are it probably doesn't have an item as I tried to kill each mob at least 10 times to ensure whether or not it was going to drop something. Also, for mobs like the Water Sprites that drop shards or crystals, this depends on the level of the Sprite. Anything lower than 25 usually will drop shards while anything at or above that level tends to drop crystals.
