lvl 11 carpentry for this rod sounds a little low but i have gathered enough and will try making a few later today ***fingers crossed**

Leon said he made one in the ls last night then failed the second. I don't know what his carpentry is up to now so be good to see some details from him. The reel seems to be the main issue. |

I attempted this last night as a level 11 Carpenter with Common guild support. I received the message that I needed to wait till I was higher skill.
I had a level 21 Carpenter complete the synthesis for me. He completed it, but the orb went unstable for him just before the last synth.
After using the Willow Rod last night, I did notice that the "remainder" bar depleted less quickly when missing the target zone. Therefore, it allows you more attempts to catch a fish.

As Methos said, its definitely not 11 Carpentry. I tried the same thing.
In addition to the remainder bar not depleting as quickly, I also started getting an extra jig on some fish like blue coral.

I just bought 2 for 60k each! and i was prepared and posted on other sites that i was seeking for 100k!
i've been shouting now and then in game. Just got back into town after fishing all day long, and somebody sent me a tell offering to sell for 60k.
so now i finally have a willow rod! and i dinged rank 24 a little bit ago

I can make them fairly reliably right now. If you get me the materials I'd be happy to make one for you. I usually have Willow Branches, Willow Lumber, Bone Fish Hooks, and Hempen Bowstrings already. I'd only need the Brass Reel and the Iron Wire.
