Thought I'd start keeping track of secondary node gathers I find here until they're implemented on the site, then I can just transfer in all the info. ^^
Rank 12 Botanist - Bronze Hatchet + Bronze Scythe. Also using Hempen Shirt +1 (+4 Gathering)

I see so many people shouting for wind crystals to buy and I guess they just don't want to farm them when it's so incredibly easy. It's also why my Botany is up to 14 and plus it's such easy gil to npc the items. I'll hit some nodes when I'm running between areas. Has got to the point where it's 1 chop~drop.
The maple sap sells nicely as well and I use the logs for Carpenter. logs/wind, repeat, repeat. Level up until I can do more leves.
^Taru I'm sure will give better detailed info but I hit mostly Gridania (Grade 3 nodes on the path from Ul'dah zone heading to Gridania, Grade 1 nodes in central forest of The Black Shroud and Grade 2 the other forest sections) and Ul'dah nodes which range from Grade3 (from docks to that first camp (horizon?) then grade 1 outside Ul'dah and grade 2 as you head to the Gridania zone.

I just logged in to the site after a couple days since I haven't been gathering lately and saw that on the front page... so excited!
