well since the servers are down the Halcyon rod for those who dont how to get it yet is from finishing the Fisher questline its gonna be a bit annoying but bear with it:  anyway the most annoying parts are the Raincaller since it only pops at rainy weather, and the last fish which needs double mooching.

Excellent update and thanks Laotzu, I had a feeling this is where it came from but didn't want to jump to conclusions :p
Sad to say though, it sorta makes the Luminary nothing to 'strive' for...more of a "well its nice when you finally get it" for eye candy. With identical stats though simply completing the class quests will work :D

 Greetings from Excalibur Just finished my lvl 50FSH set Im stuck on the lvl 30 quest...where do you get spoon worms? I dont see it listed in the OP

Meanwhile, I'm looking for the "Jadite Flood" so I can catch Raincallers for lvl40 quest.
Each Bait you need for the quests can be bought at the camp nearest where you need to be btw.

Spoon Worms can be purchased in Costa del Sol. Also wanted to add a little tidbit. I started a new char on Diabolos and I found around level 15, a good place to grind is in Everschade. If you have all the level appropriate gear and Midge Baskets, all you will catch is Ala Mhigan Fighting Fish, and you have a pretty good chance to catch HQ ones, giving you the 300% xp bonus. Updated my unused post with fish that currently have recipes associated with them. Nothing too detailed, just a list for now. You can find their recipes on xivdb. Also updated the Bait & Lure post with some new ones I found along with where they're bought and updated others already in the list with more purchase locations. So, kinda stuck at level 27 at the moment, where is best to fish till about 30? should i just be fishing or should i try and get some leves for fishing? =/

It's my understanding that leves REALLY make the process go by a lot faster. Everschade, the place I mentioned above, is a level 30 area though if you want to try that. I don't have access to the lures needed to catch the higher level fish there as I'm playing on a new char and am only level 18 at the moment. |

Bleh, i need Silver Shark's! Someone on Ragnarok seems to know where to catch them since he (or she) is selling 13 shark's. But price's are high for them, and i'm not willing to pay for something i'm able to gather on my own. I just have to find out where to catch them. Neeeeeed Shark Oil very bad! *sniff* |
