Good afternoon all.

I actually shared this info last night with Lukas Belmont. I had stumbled upon it a couple of days ago by accident. My friend and I were in a party together just to chat, and we decided to go tackle some fishing leves together. Well it works out that just like battlecraft leves, fishing leves can also be "shared".

The way we found out is my friend actually was killed off by an Angler while we were attempting one of the level 10 Gridania leves. I kept fishing and successfully caught the 3 fish necessary to complete the quest, and he noticed that for every fish I caught, he was rewarded with the catch as well. All he had to do was "return" back to the aetheryte, ran out to my completed aetherial node that I allowed to wait around, and he collected the same reward as me.

So next, we decided to experiment some more and we tried the fishing 3 spots leve as well. We both chose separate locations and when he completed his location I was credited with it, and when I completed my location he was credited with it as well. The one thing that is individual is the skill points for catching a fish. He only receives skillpoints for the fish he catches, and I received SP for the ones I caught.

Unless you are using the levequests to boost your skillpoints, then I suggest teaming up and finishing your leves faster (which also gives greater gil reward) and will allow for a greater chance of success. Happy fishing!

I found this out with my friend too, unfortunately. I was doing my leves and he caught one of the three fish I needed, stealing 600sp. :P

So do you share the reward or ?

If I have a leve that would reward me 5000 gil how would this be divided: 2500 each or 5000 each? I guess the last one seem extremely unlikely...

No, it just means that when both people have the same levequest active that it can be performed more expediently by partying together.

The rewards are still separate. Each will get the reward listed on his/her own levequest tablet.

You actually don't need the Leve to help. Not sure if you also have the Leve it will be completed at the same time, or if you both can do the leve twice (each person activate their leve seperately).

I been helping LS members with their Leves and I get rewards just the same.

As I see leve's:

1. You do the leve alone and you get what you chose (lol, sometimes)..plus bonus for difficulties--if chosen.

2.  You and (all) GROUP member(s) have the same leve(s):  You all  get what the Leve would give a solo player, plus...You may or may not get very high bonus points for 4-5 Stars and completions which a solo may not be able to do at higher lv. quests. (note that each player's leve is completed by that one run)

3. You have the leve and NONE of the group besides you have it:  You get the leve stuff and the rest get about a thousand g. @ lower lv's, Plus...ALL group members get what's in the BOX if there is one that spawns.

For the most part casters get dick on SP/XP and as is a Square Party legacy--DD types get mucho.  So hit stuff a  lot with hand weapons or Sririt Dart type casts if you want Skill Ups too.

If you have a Leve it is IMPORTANT that others are invited to party to JOIN it...IF you come late, after the Leve is proc'd...you MUST talk to the crystal and join in--or maybe its in the side bar too, I dont have it up atm.  Corredt theis if I'm off here.

I SO KNOW HOWEVER...That IF you don't JOIN in the correct way after the Leve Holder has taken it (the leve) you will find yourself (my case) healing what SHOULD BE PARTY MEMBERS...but are not...who SEEM to be fighting invisible enemies...or locked in still motion, but with their life draining out on the bar.  By UNSEEN forces.

And you don't get any goodies from it either.

I THINK...that I remember IF one member (*group) takes a quest that others have...failure to complete, is a failure to complete for all who hold the leve.  You cannot try it with another member same leve.  That failed one will be removed from your list.

Please correct this as needed

tammany: I guess that's good information about battlecraft leves, but this thread was about fishing leves.
