It is awesome that we only need to fish to have located ALL the fish in the game. I think you guys have done an amazing job.

However I still need map coordinates for the following locations. I should add that you are welcome to give me the ingame coordinates but what I am really looking for is the coordinates on these maps here. Just right click the map and the coordinates will be written above the maps.
Lower La Noscea -> Salt Strand
Western La Noscea -> North Umbral Isles
Western La Noscea -> South Umbral Isles
Western La Noscea -> The Ship Graveyard
Western La Noscea -> Reaver Hide
Upper La Noscea -> Bronze Lake Shallows
Upper La Noscea -> North Bronze Lake
Outer La Noscea -> The Long Climb
Central Shroud -> Hopeseed Pond
Central Shroud -> Haukke Manor
East Shroud -> Sylphlands
Western Thanalan -> Parata's Peace
Western Thanalan -> Moon Drip
Eastern Thanalan -> North Drybone
Eastern Thanalan -> South Drybone
Eastern Thanalan -> Yugr’am River
Eastern Thanalan -> The Burning Wall
Mor Dhona -> North Silvertear
Mor Dhona -> Rathefrost
Mor Dhona -> The Tangle
Mor Dhona -> The Deep Tangle
Mor Dhona -> Singing Shards
Mor Dhona -> The North Shards

I really need to get these locations as I can do so much more once we have all the locations on the maps. This makes it possible to go "the other way" meaning that I will be able to tell you where the fish are instead of what fish are at the given locations.

I want to make a single page for all fish (and other items) and if I can place the markers on the maps I can on the fish' page show all the locations they can be located. But I need to pair the locations with the maps first. Information about preferred locations, bait, level, weather, time of day and other information will also go here.

Hope you will help me out. Once we have all map coordinates (from the maps on this site, just right click the location to get them) I will replace them with ingame coordinates as many people have been confused about the coordinates.

Whoa... that was fast :D

Thanks man... I am going to get on it straight away...

That only leaves markers for three locations:
Western La Noscea -> North Umbral Isles
Western La Noscea -> South Umbral Isles
Western La Noscea -> The Ship Graveyard

And then two unknown fish:
North Umbral Isles
Cape Westwind

All known locations have now been added to the maps and all fish have been added to the locations... we are getting really close.

Hey Kida,

Not to try to copy from xivdb or anything, but it seems like they're moving their maps from the Google API to something called Leaflet. Do you think there would be any benefit for you to do the same, being as we don't have *too* much information populated on the maps yet?

So... Anyone got any new information to how or how not to fish up the Titanic Sawfish?

I have tried fishing at west capewind for hours long (wind, rain, etc.), yet no yield with yumizuno.

I also tried using Northern Krill in the hope to increase my chances and the Heavy Iron Jig since the Titanic Sawfish seemed like a big, shark-like fish and the jig seemed to fish up mostly sharks and bigger fish when I used it. But without any luck.

I don't wanna say for sure that it is not double moochable, but I am pretty sure that I caught every fish at least several times of high quality (also the mooched fish) without catching it.

If any one got some new juicy information I would love to hear ;)

imho it's Merthor Goby->Wahoo->Titanic Sawfish + rain
at least i tried it at almost all other weather conditions :)
or probably it's just very rare
so far i've luck to double mooch only 14 times and everytime it was:
Merthor Goby->Wahoo->Silver Shark

some statistic:
298 Merthor Goby -> 19% HQ
Merthor Goby HQ -> 30% Silver Shark and 70% Wahoo (35% HQ)
100% Wahoo HQ -> Silver Shark

Just wanted to pop in and thank you guys for this thread, I created a wiki entry at http://xivwiki.com/Fishing_Log for this reason, and when I posted a link on reddit someone pointed me here. This is huge, you guys rock. Special thanks to that fella on the 3rd page for telling me where to get Shall Shells, I couldn't figure out that fish for DAYS!

This?

Can one of the fish maybe not be in the game? Or at least not obtained by fishing?

There you go, the elusive ** Titanic!

Titanic Sawfish

Condtions and time shown on the screenshot, double mooched from melthor goby > wahoo > titanic sawfish.

And i only today got my FSH to 50 :)

damn, finally. good job.

i've fished there a wholeeeee lot of hours. day, night, moon phases, rain, no rain, etc etc etc

seems that it's just a normal double mooch during the day then, just super damn rare

since it's a double mooch off goby, are you using goby balls bait?
