During Phase 4, it seemed like Perception actually did something.
Now, with full AF I'm barely HQing anything. Even level 3 gobys.
I feel like I've also noticed, the fish that are moochable have a lower HQ chance than normal fish.
It's gotten pretty bad. I don't understand. I should be just CRUSHING level 3 gobys for mooching at level 50 with 190 perception.
Anyone else feel this way? |

I am not sure if these two are related but please bare with me. I have noticed that the HQ rate for botanist does not go above 15% once you have a certain amount of perception. Maybe it is the case with fishing, where there is a hard cap to the % for HQ fish.

I was having this same discussion with someone else today in the game. Even with 190 perception I too find that my HQ catching rate hasn't gone up. So I believe there really could be a hard HQ cap just like there is in botany.
