Cuz I haven't seen anything like it here, I thought I'd give it a post. Don't expect a macro that fishes a stack of 99 for you, just one that reduces the button clicks each time you hear the fish bite sound.
/ac Hook <me>
/wait 12
/ac Mooch <me>
/ac Cast <me>
You press this macro when you hear the snagging sound (after you have casted).
It first hooks.
Waits 12 ticks. This can be adjusted as you see fit. (for animation to run its course, 11 or 12 is how long I've found it takes for the longest animation; when you hook a HQ fish)
Tries to Mooch (optional if you don't want to mooch, leave it off)
If Mooching fails, it defaults to Cast (recasting your next line).
This effectively reduces your button pressing down to 1 and you don't have to worry about forgetting to Mooch if you choose to.

yeah thanks so much, i was able to 1 button fish, preesing whenever the controller rumbled. i was able to watch tv and slog through a few levels yesterday, thanks |

I noticed that your time from Hook to Cast is always one of two length. About 7 or so seconds, or about 10 seconds. Since Mooch and Cast don't do anything after you cast(except for make annoying beeps), I use them once after 7.5 seconds and try again after 2.5 more seconds. Not a crazy difference or anything, but cuts 2-4 seconds off of recasting. The beeps might get annoying, but I fish judging off controller vibration(DualShock 3 on the PC version), so that's not an issue for me.
Macro:
/ac "Hook" <me>
/wait 7.5
/ac "Mooch" <me>
/ac "Cast" <me>
/wait 2.5
/ac "Mooch" <me>
/ac "Cast" <me>
And if you want the Hook icon for your macro, add:
/micon "Hook"

where do I add the /micon ? in the actual body of the macro? |

I put that in the 1st line of my macros. Use it for lots of dow/dom macs. like this: /micon "Power Surge" /ac "Power Surge" <me> /wait 2.5 /ac "Spineshatter Dive" <t> Edited by user Thursday, September 19, 2013 5:53:47 AM(UTC)

If i put auto cast /ac cast <me> 1st should i it auto fish for everything should i just edit 12 and put 99999999999a to fish 4ever??
