well thats a bummer. . .
but regarding that it takes a bit of a while to make people fish it and it seems in my server there have been some undercuts by 500gil
but to be fair theres only a few people who are undercutting here on balmung and it seems the best way to maintain the fish price is not to undercut
why would i say that? because last night there was a fellow fisher who told me he wont undercut me as a "thank you for sharing the info" but here's the catch despite that he fished over 20 fish HQed 4 dishes and made the rest and despite that my name isnt on the first list my dish was getting sold

another method too for getting gil is Blacklip oysters HQ and Red coral HQ which sells decently but not on balmung "the blacklip" because someone decided to under cut the HQ one from 40k to 1k can you believe that?!

onto further notes:
as soon as the maint ends am getting a second hat and bump it up fully Gathering to get 300ish gathering without food and am gonna see if that the mahi is fished more frequently with higher gathering

That's when you buy up the ones going for 1k and relist them for 40k, if they're actually selling for that price. :P

Either I am extremely unlucky, or it's really hard to catch this fish at night or something. After like 60 casts I got 1 so far. This ain't stopping me though since I only got 10k to my name, haha.

*edit* I just caught 2 back to back after 10am, and another at 6:09 PM

ive noticed rare catch/HQ rate seems to drop alot in fog/cloudy

And the fact that Mahi-Mahi isn't a mooch fish far from gave me a heart attack, but made me relieved. If the fish was a rare double mooch or what not then the food would be too rare and either too expensive or unsellable due to the price you would have to sell it for. its good enough that it is only catchable with a crafted, but also can get from r45 fisher leves, lure and only at certain times of the day.

I'm not bot paranoid/RMT paranoid like SE is.
