Does anyone have this yet? I find it hard to believe that this rod shares the same stats as the one you can get from the level 50 quest. If this is the case, what is the benefit of using this rod over Halcyon? Collection piece? Also, does anyone know if this rod looks any different from the aesthetic wise than the Halcyon Rod?

This was a carryover item from 1.0 and it was much better than anything available then. They decided to keep it around for new players too I suppose. If you fish enough you'll eventually just end up getting one. I don't know if I'd necessarily go out of your way to get it if you already have the Halcyon Rod. |
