any one know what the stars mean next to the fish i thought maybe the stood for mooch double mooch but i checked a double mooched fish i caught and it didnt have any stars next to it was just wondering thanks in advance

I think it just has to do with the rarity of the fish. These things may not mean a whole lot until they expand upon the fishing system. Right now it's pretty simple and just a matter of filling out your fishing log and selling whatever you can. |

I also think it has to do with difficulty as with recipes. The high level recipes have stars depending on how difficult they are and what requirements they have. |

Only one fish with a star next to it is used in a recipe, Mahi-Mahi. The rest are pretty much useless for the time being, but I would hold onto them.
