I'm sure this is going to sound quite silly, but how do I get to Jadeite Flood? I see it on the map for New Gridania, but I don't know where I actually stand to fish it. Do I need to be on the Airship landing docks?

Head outside of the inn going towards the east exit and you can fish there. Remember, you can only catch the fish while it's raining. |

That seems a bit far from Jadeite Flood lol. The fishing quests haven't been very accurate in location though. Thank you :) I shall wait for my rain.

There's definitely a "right" bait involved in this one OR they're only mooched, because it was raining for a good 15-20minutes RL time and i got absolutely NONE, went through my entire collection of freshwater baits and got 0 bites from those damned Raincallers.. i'm very sad.. ill have to sit there for hours now, waiting for the next rain to pour in, this quest blows majorly. Edit: Did a little bit of 'digging' and found out, the bait is Stem Borer from Wineport... damn, what a wasted rain... Edited by user Tuesday, September 10, 2013 10:09:38 PM(UTC)

it's kind of amazing that some people don't read the journal for the quest I did read it, but i must've missed that stem borer part.. sometimes dyslexia happens to those that don't have it.

Weather changes every 8 hours. Don't have to sit all day :)
Just check at 0, 8, 16 (In game time) and if its not raining it won't be for the next 16 minutes or so.
