Hi this is my first time posting on these forums, but I've been lurking for a bit. I'm working on finishing the fishing guide currently and right now I'm stuck in Mor Dhona at the North Silvertear. I've been trying to get the Heliobatis and have had absolutely no luck. Close to 1700 fish alone at this spot and nothing. I've used the Silver Spoon Lure to isolate the Silverfish and hope for a double mooch if the Assassin Betta will allow it. If anyone has any information on how to catch it, I'd really appreciate it. Thank you.

Hey there lurker. :P Someone else may be able to better help you, but there was another post saying that you possibly need a Silverfish > Goldfish double mooch to catch it. http://disciplesofthelan...osts&m=6919#post6919Glad that you're enjoying the fishing. Hey old buddy! Yea I was thinking that the double mooch is how to get it since it is a 2 star rating. I'm curious if weather plays a role in catching it (I've noticed that the silverfish catch rate increases quite a bit during dark weather). Every result from a double mooch has been an Assassin Betta for me. But I also didn't see those comments in the thread you linked, sorry about that ><.

I'm having the same issue. I've fished during all the weather conditions at this location, day and night. I'm using honey worms to isolate the silver fish, and gotten plenty of double mooches, but haven't hit on the Heliobatis yet. The Assassin Betta always shows up on the double mooch (sometimes on the single). I'm going to give it another try and I'll report back if I have any success.

After a few casts and probally being lucky I caught a Cadaver carp and saw that it wasn't on the fishing list yet, so here you go.
It wasn't raining nor did the fish have to be mooched, just luck I guess. My current gear is full fisher's gear (241 gath + 194 Perc.). |
