If you haven't experienced the Bluefrog/CPPlant fate runs like DD then go do it. Broken or not depending on who you talk to the xp is nuts but you need to get in a pt when you get there. Just watch the shouts or shout for an invite like always. I prefer to do dungeons myself, but this is helpful for those that'd rather do FATEs. |

I heard there was a ninja nerf to the Dark Devices FATE in Northern Thanalan that would continuously spawn mobs, netting people 100k per run of it. Only one wave spawns now. |

Well I actually only tried that on on my warrior to finish it up cause I was bored of everything else and hadn't done it yet. It was ridiculous xp if you got in a pt along with all the other fates up there which are a lot.
I didn't know they nerfed it. Eh. Oh well. I don't however like how SE nerfs stuff like this. They did the same thing for walls in ffxi in the past era. Seems utterly harmless for a game, 14, that is so incredibly easy already. Funny thing is they originally said it was working as intended but guess not. They probably looked at it in the same light as speed runs in dungeons.
Hopefully they didn't nerf it to try to get people in dungeons more. We already do those enough and you have the freedom to xp however you want... it was ridiculous xp lol and obviously not how they intended it to be. |
