I'm LVL 27 currently and fishing for Monkfish (for Grand Company provisions) in Crescent Cove, but I can't seem to land this fish at all. I've tried Rat Tail and Crab Ball thus far. I had Shrimp Cage Feeder, but only 2 because I thought at 300 Gil each that they were lures.  So, does someone know what bait or lure I can use at LVL 27 to catch this picky fish?

I'm not in game to check as of writing this, but I've seen some posts elsewhere saying that spoon worms and sinking minnow work for these. |

I am in exactly the same boat!
The baits mentioned are L30 and L34 ... not much use when you are level 27-28 !
I have now lost out on GC seals and the nice xp bonuses for 3 of the last 5 days.
Rather frustrated
