So among other things translated in this link by Reinheart.. thought lvling up bot/miner was tedious and slow. Well watch out now you can get lvl 50 in a few days lol. It's kind of hard for me to fathom an xp boost already and we're not even past the 6 month mark yet. lol there is going to be so many 50 dol's so soon. Let's all race to get lvl 50 on everything before Xmas!

It's not that it's hard to lvl up.. it's because people get bored easily and complain and SE has kneejerk reactions. There is so much they could be doing to dol instead of a xp boost. Shame. The only reason I even get on my dol jobs is to farm mats/gil farm (what's left to make gil on) and that's it.

It's probably also being done in part because everything that people grind on to level (without leves) is worthless because of the sheer number of things you need to gather to level up. Once the levelers dump all their junk on the markets, the prices plummets.

That said, with more people at 50, it'll probably just tank the lv50 items (even more so than they already are) so sell your lv50 stuff now while it's still uh... less tanked than it will be.

I'm happy about this news, 'cause I only just started leveling Miner last night.

I've been making a point of gathering a stack of every useful crafting item then using leves to cover the rest of my xp. I guess the process will move along much faster now. I've been mostly gathering in between queues on leveling some of my lower level classes.

This is gonna be my last post on all this mess cause I'm tired of griping about it and it doesn't help anything.

My negativity aside.. I 100% believe they will at some point have to make some changes to the game whether via the market or how some things are made or farmed in order to make the economy profitable and sustainable. You just can't have everything easily done. Lvling these dol classes was not hard to begin with so having more people at lvl 50 was inevitable.

You just don't have lvl 100 goldsmiths everywhere in ffxi or didn't. It took time and most people didn't want to do that. Expensive or too much of a grind/gil sink but either way not everyone could do it cause it didn't take weeks to cap it out and they knew it would take months if not much, much longer.

So you had those special nq and hq crafts that most couldn't or wouldn't do and there was good gil to be made. You don't have that here. Nothing is special. Everyone can do everything very quickly and when that is the case nothing is going to be a good money maker except for a few items and some gear with multiple melds on it.

That's why Yoshi should of made and hopefully will make changes later on to all 3 dol where you have to work your ass off for something equivalent to a ebisu to catch certain fish that sell for a lot. Something that takes 6months to a year to accomplish. But he wants everything in the game to be quickly and easily done with a few exceptions of end game battle events and gear.

Which falls in line with Yoshi's direction for the game and personal tastes as he's mentioned before. He is a huge fan of DoW/DoM and to him dol is nothing more than a time filler and doh is pretty much a joke as well as far as lvling up. I still pay and will continue to pay to play but the game is way, way too easy and it's killing the market even more.

The big question will be what is going to happen when for the most part a very high % of players on every server have everything capped. You'll always have people who just want to buy stuff but the market will be so saturated that nothing will be worth anything and hardly anyone will be buying anything.

You're seeing a lot of people buying stuff cause they're all lvling up.. so what happens when those players cap. I guess when the cap is raised we'll go through another period of making gil until we all cap again.

I guess what I'm saying is nothing is really special/rewarding. For example he should of left the dol golden tools as is and not put in these new ones. AF is a joke, lvling is a joke, tools are a joke to get and on and on. I love fun and easy but for christ sake besides coil and hard primes give me something that's a challenge and rewarding that not everyone can do. k I'm done.

Seems like it was about a 50% increase in xp for mining/botany for just straight grinding. Not sure on the leves yet, there's some testimonials about certain levels and xp gained on Reddit. I know in Quarrymill as a 27 miner I get somewhere between 10-12k prepatch doing the leve at its intended level, so I'll see how much that varies tonight.
