My favorite event/holiday of the year next to Xmas is Halloween in final fantasy and in real life. FFXI always had good events with decent items/stats like the warp staff II. 1.0's items stats were meh so we'll see if they offer up anything neat this year.

I don't know if you've noticed it, but it feels like the atmosphere around the city-states has really started to change. It feels very foreboding, like something is just not quite right...
Ul'dah looks a little different, right? There's something I can't quite put my finger on.

"All Saints' Wake" will soon descend upon Eorzea!
Looks like Gridania has started to change, too.
Limsa Lominsa is all set to go.
