1-star Fish

Bowfin (UPDATE: Caught)
Double Mooch, Silverfish>Goldfish, Spinner

Emperor Fish (UPDATE: Caught)
Mooched, Ablathian Smelt, Silver Spoon Lure

Mushroom Crab (UPDATE: Caught)
Fog, Mooched, Common Sculpin, Spinner

Poxpike (UPDATE: Caught)
Double Mooch, Silverfish>Goldfish, Sinking Minnow

2-star Fish

Cadaver Carp (UPDATE: Caught)
Gloom, Rainbow Spoon Lure

Heliobatis (UPDATE: Caught)
Gloom, Caddisfly Larva

Morinabaligi (UPDATE: Caught)
Double Mooch, Silverfish>Goldfish, Glowworm, Honey Worm

Rhamphorhyncus (UPDATE: Caught)
Double Mooch, Cloud Cutter>Saucerfish, Balloon Bug

Titanic Sawfish (UPDATE: Caught)
Clear, Double Mooch, Merlthor Goby>Wahoo, Goby Ball

This is the information I have collected for these fish, so far I have attempted to catch a Sawfish and the Rhamphorhyncus.

Was unaware at the time that Sawfish needed sunny (is that the same as clear?) weather. 200+ casts netted me a few dozen Silver Sharks and Wahoos, 3 stacks of Gobies, and no Sawfish. Used lugworm for a dozen or so casts, then Floating Minnow for the rest.

For the Rhamphorhyncus I caught very few HQ Cloud Cutters, and no Rhamps, went through a stack of Hoverworms, then stopped the attempt.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated before I attempt these fish again. My current setup is 259 gathering/201 perception.

I caught an Emperor Fish while leveling up so I don't think there's anything special to it than the conditions you listed.

For the Sawfish, it seems that people that caught this did so earlier in the day Eorzea Time (like 11am-12pm).

The rest I can't really comment on. I've been slacking as to filling out my fishing log. Too busy gearing up my BLM. :/

Spent some time waiting for weather, almost missed gloom, no luck then.

Come back later, caught a Poxpike at Rathefrost (was night and cloudy), move to North Silvertear, and Gloom hits.

First cast with caddisfly larva, Heliobatis.

200+ casts and no Morinabaligi.

Have caught 5 Goldfish (not sure how many HQ) and 13 Assassin Bettas (+2 HQ), only spent my 99 Honey Worms during nighttime. During daytime I rarely got a HQ Silverfish bite.

Went through my lures until I hit Spinner, and that was the first one able to catch a HQ Silverfish at all. Few casts later I caught a Bowfin. Was evening and raining.

AFK:d a lot waiting for Fog weather, when it finally came I didn't manage to pull up a HQ Common Sculpin.

Later I was killed by some asshat fighting treants by the lake, while I was AFK. Anyway, warped back to Hawthorne Hut and idled there until Fog came again. This time I went with Spinner, and I ventured in to the second pond in Sylphlands. Took me three casts to catch the Sculpin, followed by the Mushroom Crab.

Perseverance!

This morning I caught the last two;

Morinabaligi with Honey Worm, had a Parsnip Salad to boost my Perception.

Titanic Sawfish with Goby Balls, had a Jack-o'-Lantern to go with that. Weather was clear, and afternoon-ish.
