A few items:
On your map of Lower La Noscea, you have two areas named "Cedarwood". The smaller area on the right/east is actually named "The Grey Fleet" in-game. (The title pops up as you enter the area with level 20 trees where Sun Lemons are.)
Also in Lower La Noscea, you have The Salt Strand fishing area as grade/level 20. I was not able to fish this until I hit level 35. (I'm not sure exactly what level that makes it. If it's like logging, Lv20 trees become available at Lv15, so there's a +5 difference.)
Finally, in Eastern La Noscea, the North Bloodshore fishing area might not be Lv35. I'm pretty sure that I could fish it before Lv30, like around Lv28 probably. Is there anything in-game that actually shows what level fishing spots are?

The Fishing Log actually shows what the recommended level is for each area. You don't necessarily have to be the recommended level to fish in an area, unless it's a fishing spot that requires Gulleye. As long as you can actually catch a fish in that area it'll populate in your fishing log. I was able to add a level 45 area to my fishing log at level 27 because there was a lower level fish located in that area I was able to catch.
The Salt Strand requires Gulleye II, which is a level 35 trait so you ARE required to be that level to even attempt fishing there. |
