So if you've tried for any of the big fish we haven't listed yet after 2.2 then you know how much of a pain they are to catch. Some of us have invested a lot of time in this already with no results. This is where most of us have moved on to other new content.
Well I'm deciding to stick to one area, grab some pen and paper, and write down all my results. This will include number of times on a certain bait or lure, daytime or night time, and the type of weather. I will be working towards trying everything known to hook this fish.
I am starting at the two fishing holes in New Gridania then working my way out Old Gridania.
Does anyone want to pick a place to focus on? Put it up here so we know there's other places someone else could focus on. If we have a plan then I think we will eventually fish them out. ;)

I'm up for it! But lets create same methodology so people could follow it like: - pick one /two spots - observe any correlations - minimum 3 full game days (5? 10?) - start from the top level bait - go down the list - mooch everything - record time - weather / day/night The similiar thread is on Lodestone: http://forum.square-enix...when-to-land-the-big-oneBut we should use both of these forums as one - not many people want to waste time finding out the big fish so we should use any resources we can to do it. I will cover Moraby Docks (Jacques The Snipper - King Pebble Crab) and Moraby Bay (Oschon's Print - King Moraby Flounder).
