Most of you seem to be advanced players here so this may not apply, but I still thought I would share a website I made to help new players get started in the game. http://www.ffxiventurer.com/ was created to help new players through their first 10 ranks of gameplay. It's not very fancy, but it loads fast for those who need to look up information while playing the game.
The website is still a work in progress though, especially the crafting levequests. Keep in mind that the rewards and objectives will be different every time you repeat a local levequest, but the instructions should be basically the same. All the rank 1 regional levequest walkthroughs are complete, as well as the first 3 storyline quests for each nation.
As I said, it's all very basic information but hopefully it can help someone out. Thanks to everyone who has already visited. |

Nice job! I have a table already done that you can use, since I haven't been updating my site as often as I'd intended - it lists all the beginning crafting tools, where to get them and prices, all in one table (linked to YG) - feel free to grab it if you can use it :) http://burgii.com/ffxiv/craft.phpI also have a "how to start crafting" guide written, once I finish straightening out the code for it, I'll let you know when that's ready too. Thanks! I am still working on my crafting guides too. I did finally get all the class guides done for DoW, DoM, and DoL jobs.
My site analytics were picking up that people were searching for point allotment suggestions so I finally got those added, plus a few tips for how to play each class.
Next up is DoH guides and maybe some equipment upgrade suggestions since it seems most classes start needing new weapons/tools around rank 7. |
