Hi all
I just want to say sorry for the server being down during the weekend. Of course it happened when I was almost 1000 miles from home with no way of correcting the error. I contacted my host as soon as I got home yesterday and we had the problem corrected. I am not quite sure how long the site has been down but I have put up some web monitoring that will inform me if this should happen again.
Once again sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.

no problem^^ Just had to record on paper for a little bit, allowed me to do something other than fish for a while. Thanks for the great thing you have going on here. Can't wait to see some of the new data. |

It's all good. For a few I thought it was part of this mass hack attack this ex disgruntled employee did to this one server hosting company. I had like 4 sites down all weekend lol that I visit. |

Yayyy! I didn't realize how much I use the site until it was down lol. I recorded everything on paper that I was harvesting, will input it tonight. ^^ No worries Kida, thanks for getting it fixed. :) |

OK So the server has been up and down for quite some time now. I have been rather dissapointed with the server I have had lately so I have taken the consequence and changed provider. The server is now located in the states and has quite a lot more power. I hope that this will help in keeping the site faster and more online. I am really sorry for all the downtime we have had but hope it will improve with this new server.
I have not moved the database yet but hope to do this before the end of the year. I have never had any problems with the old one so there should be no problems. Of course the site will run faster as I get a new database up and running as well. |

Just wanted to make an update on this as I never really got the new server to work with the database. I have now updated the server so the site will have more processor power and more memory. It should increase the speed of the site and make it a better experience. The site has been running ok for a while with no downtime but the added hardware should make it run even better.  I have made some other changes as well to make it all run a bit smoother. If you find the site is slow please let me know and I will see what I can do. I just wanted to let you know that I have once again updated the server. It now has even more memory and I hope this will be sufficient for the time being. If not this is starting to get a bit too expensive :D |
