Halcyon Rod Supra (FSH i75)

To obtain these you need to collect 3 Olgoi-Khorkoi (FSH) each also with 10 "Fieldcraft Demi-Materia III".

Once this is done, you receive a token from Talon in Mor Dhona. You then need to trade this token in, along with the AF tool (Halcyon Rod) and 1 "Mastercraft Demimateria" to receive the new i75 Supra tool.

So any news on the best/easiest/cheapest way to get that rod? I guess the first question is, where do you catch the Olgoi and how. After that, any good way to make the fieldcrafts on your own? And then the mastercraft materia, never even heard of that one, haha. If no answers, no worries, thanks for putting up the starting info there Rescuer.

I got about 339 gathering unbuffed, is that enough for the new fish? Or should I eat some food?

dude.. Fieldcraft Demi-Materia III are 500K + on Excal. I need to find out how to get these but I'd almost rather sell and make cash lol.

Fieldcraft Materia 3: http://na.finalfantasyxi...er/2803251/blog/1392382/

Well still have to hq the items to get specs and lvl up your gold desynth or lvl up your weaver desynth and do forager hats by catching the 10 hq sovereign.

I think I'll just do hats and lvl up weaver desynth

I bought 10x Fieldcraft Demimateria and 1x Mastercraft Demimateria.
I have Desynth only CUL 84 and WVR 55, so i cant obtain fieldcraft III from anything.

That rod was expensive. I spent 7 milions for that. :D
Suit you can desynth from fishes. Octomamooth (man bikini), Gigantshark, etc.

I'd highly suggest using pill bugs for Octo's. You only mooch blue octopus or octo's. Can be bought at same lower limsa market vendor as Lugworms.

So do I need a heatwave for the Olgoi-Khorkoi? I'm sitting at 371g/298p with food buff I am just using my dodore rings which is why I'm a little low, but it seems like I should be far over what's required. However I got a ton of failures last night after a mooch. My main thing here is hunting for the waterproof cotton, I don't quite want to keep farming Silver Sovereigns to hit 100 desynth.

I am not sure about the Heatwave. I have caught three so far (have not spent too much time on it as I want to find other of the big fish as well) and they were all caught during heat wave. I had two or three that got away and they were during heat wave as well so I would say it is a good idea to be there while the weather is hot. I am not sure if it is exclusively during heat waves but all people seem to agree on it though.
