Q. Why are there no rank 20 regional leves for miners outside of Limsa Lominsa?
A. Beyond rank 20, regional leves for Disciple of the Land classes are issued only from certain authorities.
* After the November version update, all nations will issue regional leves for all classes, regardless of rank.
It's good to hear they're going to give some love to the DoL classes in the big November update. This will give us more chances at getting guild marks.

So glad they're fixing this... right now the only rank 20 gathering leves I can pick up are botany, and I have to go to Ul'dah just to get those. -_- |

Similar to FFXI, you can only tele to somewhere that you have been before. The differences in XIV are that someone else that has been there can tele you to somewhere you have never been, and you don't need to find a WHM for tele, any class can do it!
With that said, I deleted my first character, created a new one, and one of the first things I did was to run to the other cities and get the teles done for them. Having leveled BST to 75 twice in FFXI, I got pretty good at dodging mobs, so running around as a level 3 was easy! It was certainly well worth the effort since I can now bounce around the world as needed, without having to depend on someone else.
Even so, this is going to be a major relief for me as 6 points for a LL tele for the miner leve and another 6 to get home again, kinda eats into my total faster than I can "rest up" the points!
