Most of the listings are correct. You can attempt a recipe at 10 ranks below it. Depending on your gear, whether it has a secondary craft needed, whether it requires a training/facility, whether it is based on craftsmanship or magic craftsmanship, and most of all luck with the randomness, you can make the recipe at 10 ranks below.
(Or was it 9 ranks? I've succeeded at recipes 9 ranks above, haven't tried 10 ranks above that I recall. 11 ranks above won't let you attempt.)
Those I've added myself: Dried Prune, Grilled Carp, Grilled Trout (rainbow), Jack-o-'lantern, Jerked Beef, Orange Juice, Pineapple Juice, Raw Oyster, Salt Cod, and all the River Sand/Sea Sand that isn't listed as 0/1 (except Brass Loach, which is rank 1). I also just updated Marmot Steak and Sweet Cream earlier today.
Maple Sugar I think I listed, I'll recheck the rank soon. But it does require alchemy as a secondary craft. So if alchemy is low, it will make it harder.
If you want to find the correct ranks of the recipes, it's easy to do. See this thread.
The goal is, to get the actual in game ranks assigned to the recipe, then let the users figure out how far above/below they should be before first attempting. Since there are so many variables, a rank 20 Cook is not equal to another rank 20 Cook. Even if they have all the same gear/stats, the randomness could cause one to do a recipe very easily, and the other to fail horribly.
Edit 10-26-2010: Just checked Landtrap Salad, it's rank 19.
