I was adding a couple of new items today and noticed the item types don't cover much at the moment. One of the main ones I would like to see added is for food, since it's usable and should be separated instead of being lumped into the "Other - Other" categories.
Could we get "Food" or "Foodstuffs" as a main item type, with these as the subtypes?
- Dairy Products
- Drinks
- Eggs
- Egg Dishes
- Foodstuffs
- Freshwater Fare
- Fruits
- Grains
- Grain Dishes
- Meats
- Meat Dishes
- Mushrooms
- Oils
- Saltwater Fare
- Seafood Dishes
- Seasonings
- Soups & Stews
- Spices
- Sweets
- Vegetables
- Vegetable Dishes
Not sure what to do about Freshwater Fare, Saltwater Fare, Fruit, Vegetable, Spice, and Grain since all these are obtained mainly through harvesting. If ticking off the checkbox is what makes them appear in the gathering lists and giving them a category through the item type drop-down menu won't interfere with that, I would like to see subcategories for those as well. |

I will add this to the list of things to do. I agree that this part is a bit on the short side :P
The database does not use these types for other than crystals and tools so it is no problem changing types for harvested or fished items. |

A long time ago... I know but know they have been added... please check the items and see if there is anything I missed.
I have added the entire tree of yg (or at least my version of it).
We should now be able to add things to more groups than just Other -> Other LOL |
