Right now my favorite place is a stream just west of Camp Nine Ivies in The Black Shroud.
I like it because of the nature sounds. But when it rains I get a special treat.
at this particular stream, when it rains a frog appears on the rock. So you get a relaxing sound of the stream, rain, thunder, and the frog croaking 
I also took a little video of the spot during the rain with my frog buddy

Nice pics! Personally i prefer Saltwater fishing for the view.
I wish the boat fishing was higher than grade 1.

actually, the forum doesn't do standard [img] tags for some reason. you have to click the IMAGE button, then paste in your link. i think the forum uses HTML tags not UBB

I have changed the editor so now it is a standard editor... this makes the option a bit less but it should be easier to use. Also I noticed that the editor did not sit well with iPhones and iPads... don't know how many use these but now you can at least. |

I've done a lot of fishing in Cassiopeia Hollow since I got my Bamboo Rod for the Blindfish. Only drawback is that there's no game music in the area and I have to turn on some of my own music to not fall asleep. It reminds me a lot of fishing in Sea Serpent Grotto in FFXI. |

i never noticed the music part as i always have FFXIV muted, chatting up a storm in vent.
PS: i caught my first Blindfish today :)

Thanks for the tip Rescuer, I wandered over there last night and loved fishing there. I used Bass Balls mostly, which seemed to focus on Verdana Carp and Northern Pikes, both fun strong fish to catch. The Wildfowl Lure caught Pipira as well. Crow Fly lure's glory days have passed, you will never be forgotten. I have to say my first hour was great fun but even moving between the three streams didn't stop my luck noticably deteriorating as time went on. Love the spot! Putting those big fish into the warehouse in anticipation of the day their worth is revealed to Eorzea.
