Hello all!

I just found this site and registered today, so this would be my first post.  I have some questions..

- I am wondering what impact that the perception/output gear has on your skill gain.. Is it just there to improve catch rate, thus inherently skill gain?

- Does catching fish from pools provide more skill gain than staying in one spot? Someone in my LS has said that catching tiered fish from a pool provides more skill, but I havent seen this.

- Would using a lure/bait closer to your level improve catch rate in a given area?

Thanks for making this resource available :)

No. Your LS-mate may be talking about the promising fishing locations leves, where you do earn more per catch with Guardian's Favor activated. You don't gain any more skill points just by running around looking for schools.

Depends on what you're trying to catch. Higher level bait will give you more of a chance to hook higher level fish. This is what I've seen anyway.

thank you for using the logs too. That's greatly appreciated as it helps everyone and makes all the work Kida does that much more worth it.
