has anybody moved onto grade 6 and caught fish effectively? :) i don't mean tons of no bites, lost fish, etc. i mean getting lots of catches of the main fish there. i know all water so far has crap fish (crayfish, carp, kelp, etc) and most water has at least 1-2 higher level fish. so i'm hoping that somebody is effectively catching the higher level fish at a decent rate. what rank where you able to, where did you go, lure, etc?i'm rank 38 and tried going to the Footfalls east of Uldah ferry dock. Yew rod, and tried quite a few lures. chocobo fly, wildfowl, crow fly. i even tried spoon lure, minnows and a cage feeder for shits and giggles. pretty much only caught a few crap fish in 30 minutes of being there. Based on my experience you will want to be getting decent bite rates at 42, 45ish it will become optimal. I just hit 33 and moved to G5 at 32, bite rate is pretty good with a full set of 27 gear, Rattan Rod and Crow Flys/MInnows lures (I don't touch live bait or HQ baits often anymore, its not worth it imo)
