Targeting the correct sweat spot can net more logs then prior to the Nov. patch

Single sitting Tuesday Dec 7th, Coerthas grade 5.

Triangle of Tree > Mining > Quarry

From zero fatigue to just starting to see increased fails, (I left because I was also in surplus, so increased fails and surplus starts to really cramp the SP gain).

Harvested 12 stacks of Yew logs. (Countless amount of yew branches. I drop all but the +3's, so no idea the total)

Botany has it super easy now with the update, since we can easily target specific trees, and now target logs specifically.


Note: The abilities such as Turth of Mountains, or the botany ability that increase the ability to hit the targeted items are now a great asset when farming specific mats. When activated, and targeting a desired sweat spot, the resulting item is very close to 100% the item from the targeted notch. Depending on what I am harvesting now, if the mats are profitable, I will put this ability on the action bar, when normaly it was sweat of brow only, prior.
