Heya everyone,
Was wondering if anyone seen some change since last patch ? I cannot catch a Dark Bass near Horizon Camp anymore. ( I'm 21 fisherman )
Any suggestions or tips ?
If you noticed that some fishes changed their location please advice us =)

Hey,
Horizon still has dark bass, but since the patch fishing has been changed; not only is it harder to fish but the % of fish in certain locations has changed, also it is more dependent on your bait/lure. Keep at it and you will find some, when you do make sure to follow the "sense" msg's to catch more dark bass. If you are looking for a new location i would suggest Coerthas (rank permitting).

Heya
Thank you Rlenny. I ll try to change bait. Was using Chocobo Fly for now and didnt change at all.
Gonna upgrade the post as soon i got some more ( catched 2 for 4 hours of fishing yesterday )

I get a fair amount of Dark Bass from Iron Lake. The 'trick' seems to be to fish for a bit till you get one, then follow the info after your catch (if they are above or below you) and adjust your depth till you catch one and it tells you "The Dark Bass are right where you are fishing"

Tried to stick on it today and it worked good. Been catching many kind of fishes and Dark Bass. Not much as before the patch but made a stack about an hour and half.
Used Chocobo Fly.
Thanks to both of you for the tip ) wasnt patient enough to look for the right place fishing. |
