Anyone who doesn't love the new gathering is nutso, it's pretty great. I spent the last few days leveling up BOT to get Sweat of Brow and have discovered that the sweet spot for stuff is pretty much the same regardless of zone, unless of course it doesn't exist in that zone and then it can be replaced by something else. No one really seems to care about anything but logs, so here's what I've found for logs. This scale assume that the starting notch is 0, top is +5 and bottom is -5: Ash Logs: -2 Elm Logs: ? (+1?) Chestnut Logs: ? (-4 or -5?) Willow Logs: -1 Yew Logs: +3 Luaun Logs: +4 Walnut Logs: -3 I've made ~900k selling nothing but logs over the past 5 days targeting the sweet spot using the new system. Now that I have Sweat of Brow I'll most likely switch back over to fishing. For Elm and Chestnut I couldn't find enough of those tree types to ever pinpoint the sweet spot with accuracy. ______________________________________________________________________ EDIT by Andra on 30. This info is so great. I have been working with my botanist as well for some time today and your information is a great help. I think we will have to add the sweetspot to the database as this can be great help for everybody. I will see if I can make it part of the log... |

Hello! I also found and confirmed some sweet spots. When i read about it on YellowGremlin, are started to be more attentive, and whenever i found or confirmed a sweet spot, i put it into the comments on YG.
Oak Log: -1
Pine Log: +2
Mahogany: +3 |

By the way... can it be right that both oak branch and log is at the same height??? I don't find it plausible... but it may be so. |

crow feathers at -2 .. found at grade 2 thanalan nutmeg seeds at -3 grade 2 thanalan aloe leaves +1 (cactus type nodes only I think) grade 2 thanalan latex at +1 grade 2 thanalan almonds at +2 grade 2 thanalan pairs of nopales +3 (cactus only?) grade 2 thanalan prickly pineapple +3 grade 2 thanalan alligator pears below +3 (still looking) edited post to fix pineapples which are +3, not below (I was still looking for them at the time.. lol) Edited by user Saturday, January 08, 2011 8:03:50 AM(UTC)

prickly pineapple is +3, just realized my last post I forgot to take out the part where I put 'below' because I was still looking for them at the time. The only thing I never got a chance to find was the pears which someone else did, thank you :P
