I'm working on a master Spreedsheet for a quick refrence guide for all 3 gathering classes sweet spots. For Fishing we are missing the following sweet spots: Coral Butterfly Lava Toad (-4)Merlthor Goby (-3)Nautilus (-2)Pipira (-3)Rainbow Trout (-2)Saber Sardine (+2)Tree Toad (4)Velodyna Carp (3)Vongola Clam Wahoo (+1)I will try to get to these today I think and see if i can get em posted up here. Velodyna Carp (+3)Also, It appears leve fish have their own unique spots as well. Orginally I had thought that the 'varriant' leve fish would be the same as the base but my last leve proved otherwise: Leve Fish ===================== Bigclaw Crayfish Herring for Smoking Carp for Salting Salmon for Drying Aquarium Bone Crayfish Fresh Oyster Fresh Blowfish Bitterbite Pipira Gridanian Fighting Fish Plump Bianaq Bream Agitated Black Ghost (-1)Aquarium Monke Onke Mature Monke Onke (-4)Fresh Lobster Fresh Yugr'am Salmon Jade Marimo (-5)Plump Maiden Carp Young Norther Pike (-1)These are all the leve fish that I know about. As you can see, the Jade Marimo at -5 is not in the same place as the noraml counterpart Lamp Marimo found at -3. Its also curious that this is the first resource (fishing, mining, or logging) that I've found that was at the extreme (-5 or +5). I'll keep updating these as I find em. OK So I have taken a look at the list once again and I have a couple of fishable items in the database that still have no sweetspot...
I am a bit at loss here because I don't really know all of the items from the game myself.
The first is easy:
Fingershrimps... this one has eluded us somehow but if someone should know what the sweetspot of this one is... so let us know...
Then I have Dart Frog... but I don't think you can actually catch this one when fishing can you? Is it not only obtained from Spearfishing?
Then I have Blacklip Oyster but from my understanding this item is mined and not fished so should I correct this?
I also have Cieldaleas Clam but I have no information on this one at all.
Lastly I have King Crab and I have even less information about this one...
I really want to complete this list with all fishable items so if any one have answers to these five items I would love you to post it...

You are correct.
Finger Shrimp are a drop off mobs (used to make Cage Feeders)
Dart Frogs are Spearfished in Black Shroud
Blacklip Oysters are minned/dropped
Cieldaleas Clams are either a leve item, quest item or the like. Not fishable.
Same with King Crab, i believe a leve item of sorts.

I read that Coral Butterfly is +3, but I haven't been able to verify. |
