but i tried at camp horizon and camp iron lake for 2 days

well i personally don't target dark bass, see it as a huge waste of time. I'd use the wahoo recipe for fish glue if you can fish em up.

anyway i just went out to horizon, the home is still +1.
1/10 using Moth Pupa.
1/10 using Wildfowl Fly.
0/10 using crow fly
0/10 using Chocobo fly

so out of 40 successful reel-in's i only caught 2 dark bass. I catch more wahoo at grade 5 north of Bald Knoll targeting malm kelp. hell even indigo herring are easier to catch.

if i would have brought all my lures and bait i might be able to provide a bit more insight. if anything i would test out Crayfish and bass balls. i have always had great results with the paste bait. maybe trying schools in grade 2-3 would net more Dark bass/hr.

ps: the data i provided is all but useless, as there are other elements that could have affected my bite rate, also the sample size was tiny.

Best of luck

Try changing to a lower level Fishing pole. I couldn't understand why I was no longer catching Ash Tuna. 0 tuna in one hour with rattan pole. Switched to bamboo pole caught 10 tuna in a hour. If i recall correctly i was using a willow fishing pole when i was fishing near horizon. Try that and see if you catch more dark bass.
