Had anyone done any testing on MND effect for Miners? My mind is in the gutter, lol @ only 52 as my other job is pugilist. Was considering buying some MND rings for mining if it will help out. However the +5/+7 ones arent cheap. BTW, my miner is r33.

The only place I notice a change was in my Quarry results.

I moved from 15 mnd to over 90 and the fail rate did drop, grated I still have my bad luck days but I did notice the difference. I do my best to stay as close to stat cap as I can with what little points I have after capping blacksmith main stats.

I find INT and Botany a lot more poweful, then MND and Mining.
I acquired 3 of each, INT/MND/PIE +7 rings, and have not really been able to witness the nice 4/5 unit harvests I can get all the time when logging. Even for iron/silver when on grade 5.

I will agree though, that MND does seem to help with quarry results to the same degree that INT helps harvesting results. (Gotta love 7 flax in a single swing!!)

To add, Piety for fishing does help with increasing yields. I recently went from base Piety, and never seeing more then a 1 fish catch for Crimson Crayfish, Black Sole and all those other more difficuly fish. Upped piety to ~80, with 2 +7 rings, and I constantly get 2-3 on a single catch for these same fish.

As a result I swear by INT and PIE for the aligned classes, while being rather frustrated with MND for mining.

To note, even with the boosted INT, I have not once harvested more then a single Mahogany log, so there will be a limit to what these stats can do for you, depending on your targeted results.

Darn, I didn't get to see responses before I got some rings. Luckily a pal gave me two of them. I will check it out and report back my results. I very seldom quarry, there is only a few spots to do it in each zone, wish there was more. Thanks for sharing some very useful info!

Each of the 3 gathering classes have 2 stats that affect the remainder on the Main Hand and the sucess rate of the offhand. You can tell which ones by the books/traits that they offer. Each guild offers temp improvments to 2 stats.

Mining is Vitality (Main Hand) and Mind (Offhand)

Botany is Strength (Main Hand) and Intelligence (Offhand)

Fishing is Dexterity (Main Hand) and Piety (Offhand)

Raising one will benefit your results usually a noticable amount if it was lacking prior.

I'm not sure this is completely complete, it may have changed during a patch or something idk. But if I try and fish with 120+ dex and only about 20 piety, I get really shit results, but running at 120+ dex and 120+ piety my catch rate is much better.

Its possible that the Initial Stat is more relative to Main (remainder reduction) and that the 2nd Stat is more relative to finding resources. Fishing, being the only one that will find nothing on occasion, could have the added benefit of improving bite rate. Good Point Drar

Yea, another thought. All the DoL's have two GM abailities. Increase STR/VIT/DEX but they also have Increase INT/MND/PIE. If the second lot of stats are only for offhand, what would be the point in having them activate while mainhanding? ~.^

Let's hope SE releases some info on how attributes specifically effect each class o.o

I'm pretty confident that MND is yield while VIT is +'d items with no other changes including quarrying which can be extremely random, I've run around several times with base stats and stacked VIT/MND.
