Hola DoL'ers!

The community here is second to none so I figured I would post a question that has been on my mind.

I'm leveling Alch and Fishing together. I'm 38 Fishing and 40 Alch. I have started breaking the level 41 alch fish.

Is there any grade 6-10 (preferably 10) locations that yield alch 41 crystal break fish?

Sabre Sardine
Black Sole
Wahoo
Southern Pike
Northern Pike
Velodyna Carp
Haraldr Haddock
Crimson Crayfish

I would like to get some decent SP while continueing to level alch. Any suggestions?

No.
There is no way to do what you are looking to do.

Grade 6-10 have mirrored loot tables from grade 1 waters.
So if you want alchemy worthy fish, you will need to stick to the grade 5 waters.

Option 1 - Reduce your maximum FSH SP while allowing for some ALC SP from the resulting fish

Option 2 - Maximize FSH SP, while reducing your ALC SP from the resulting fish to zero. ALC SP mats would need to come from another source.

IMO option 1 wins.

Yeah, you're pretty much stuck to Grade 5 fishing for what you need. Unfortunately my fishing level has eclipsed what I can do alchemy wise, so I'm probably going to end up just fishing up Grade 5 fish and stockpiling them until I can use them. Once I max out fishing I'll go back and catch stuff from Grade 4 to level alch, assuming I haven't found some alternative to leveling alch by then.

Oro, if you fish Halatali (grade 5) you can get a lot of bone crayfish, which will align well with your alchemy level. (I do them myself at R28 Alchemy)

They will also help you stockpile the needed lightning crystals.

Excellent. Thanks for that information Purplenv. Next time I go fishing I'll check that spot out.

And I've got to say, I'm quite impressed you have all of the gathering classes leveled so high!

Rivermeet, the Cor River. Using Wildfowl Flys I cap out each 12 hour fatigue period catching:

Northern Pike
Crimson Crayfish
Veldoyna Carp
Salmon

I set my depth to -4 for the pike and end up with a good haul. Ocasionally I'l get maybe 2 or 3 regular crayfish but the rest are good.

R40 Alch

Crimson Crayfish
Veldoyna Carp

R40 Cooking

Salmon (Little lower but at R37 cul i still get 200 for em)
Northern Pike

1 stop fishing for me. If I'm filling orders for R30 Alchs and need Crimson Crayfish at the same time (popular for R40 Alchs on my server) I go fish Cassy.

R40 Alch

Crimson Crayfish

R30 Alch

Blindfish
Lamps
Nether Newts

The nether newts are very pleantiful and are the same synth as the bone crayfish, in that they make more lighting crystals for your Alch needs.

Copperbell Mines.
Grade 6 if I recall correctly. Around 250SP @R43
Southern Pikes. Other things you will catch there: Bone Crayfish, Blindfish
Lots of agro on the way however. I just know that ants don't agro at R50 but still agro at R40ish. Bombs agro at R50.
