Yesterday I got the Resource Finder up and running. Hope you have tried it out :D
I tried it out for while and I was thinking that maybe there should be an option to choose between results from spearfishing and normal fishing. Is this something that I should implement? Let me know what you think.
Also... I am not too keen on the name resource finder. Does it make sense and if not what do you think it should be called. Please let me know if you have a better suggestion. |

I think there should be an option to choose between spearfishing and regular fishing as these are two very different things with different results.
Agree that resource finder is probably not the best name. I might come up with something good later on :)

I agree, spearfishing should be added. As far as a rename for the Resource Finder, I'm un sure. I've always had a foundness for the word Fishmonger but doesn't really fit here. I attempted to think of a term that would describe a knowledgable angler but was unable to. Maybe since this is a resource dedicated to both fishing and FFXIV we can name it after Llymlaen, the goddess that is depicted to be a angler.

I will add the option to choose between fishing and spearfishing.
Regarding the name I have to point out that it will also enable you to find information on mining and harvesting once I get it done... I like the idea of calling it Llymlaen and then add another page for mining and harvesting (don't know the names of these gods) BUT it may be a bit too unclear for people not 100 % into the game. Will the know where to look if they need the information? Maybe something combining both the name and information... like Llymlaen in big bold letters and a subtitle: Fish finder, Mine finder and Harvest finder.... I am in disarray... Or Goddess of fishing and so on... |
