As we can now see an end to the down time for FFXIV I thought it could be fun to hear what you have spent your time on since the servers were taken offline.

I have been reading a lot of comics. I haven't been reading many comics since the release of FFXIV and I have a big pile of issues still. But I have been reading more than usual these last days and I even got them catalogued (I'm using www.comicbookrealm.com) which I haven't done since August Woot

Also I have been going a bit earlier to bed BigGrin

I've been studying... kinda... I go to university in Christchurch, New Zealand, so it was closed for a while due to the Earthquake on feb 22nd and has kinda reopened but timetables are all messed up, and half my courses are being taught in tents... good fun...

Lately though when I don't have uni (because there aren't enough places for all the courses) I've been bored out of my mind and have ended up watching Naruto... since the servers went down I've watched about 170 episodes I think. Currently I'm studying... or meant to be, stop distracting me with posts Kida! Cursing

Well at least I can see I am not as distracting as Naruto BigGrin

Sorry to hear about the earth quake though. I hope that you are all right and you haven't been affected by it in other ways than what you have written. I hope that your schedules will be in order soon and you get some buildings instead of tents. How is the weather? I guess winter is getting closer.

Yea it's certainly starting to get colder. I actually live just outside Chch so my house was undamaged, it has only been uni which has effected me. Next week is even worse for my timetable. mon/tues i have classes at 8 and 9am, and then a class again at 6pm... 8 hr gap ftw? -.-!

They are currently building a second campus kinda to get us out of the tents, which they hope should be ready at easter, so that will certainly be nice ^.^

People still seem concerned about ChCh buildings and what not, but we got off so much lighter then Japan's Tsunami damage, is a real shame :/

Doesn't stop me from wanting to live there though ^.^ (thats of course if the world doesn't implode on itself before then... i'm still hoping for zombie apocalypse myself though...) Drool

I bought a ukulele to go along with my other instruments and have been recording. Just a hobby I enjoy. Kida, I lost the DOL linkshell quite awhile ago, when I joined my son and a few of his friend's linkshell. They have all since quit. I'd like to get a Shell from you again. See ya all in a few.

I've only been on briefly since the servers came back up. I'm going to see/listen to Distant Worlds in New York tomorrow night. Looking forward to a great night of Final Fantasy music in all its splendor. Hope to get back into the game next week. Have a good one everyone.

I have been away from the game for few months but started playing again and enjoying it a lot more. During the down time I was very busy working and getting my yard ready for the spring/summer. Worked on my home theater room more.

When I had a chance I played ff12 to finish some things and wkc to get ready for wkc 2 and character migration but not much.

I've been on the ls on Wutai and never see anyone online. Has everyone vanished from it or just on other ls's?

Great to have you back Vicious... Glad to hear that you like the changes that have been made to the game.

The linkshell on Wutai is pretty silent at the moment. I have not started a new one and it is still active but it is hard to keep it going as I don't have much time myself. I have added more generals but all in all it is not easy to get new members. Please keep it equipped and I will try to get a hold of you online :D

hate to tell you this man but I've basically been the only one on there with an exception of maybe 1 other person lately. Unless someone else has been on during EU times or something.

Was curious if anyone had a link to current server population numbers.
