Lv3 - Prospect
Survey the landscape to discern the number and direction of grade 1 deposits. Increases movement speed when deposits are far.
Lv5 - Earthen favor
Increases your chance to locate rare items while gathering
Lv8 - Lay of the land II
Survey the landscape to locate grade 2 and below mineral deposits.
Lv10 - Prospect II
Survey the landscape to discern the number and direction of grade 2 deposits. Increases movement speed when deposits are far.
Lv10 - Sharp vision
Increases your chance to hit items aimed for while gathering.
Lv18 - Lay of the land III
Survey the landscape to locate grade 3 and below mineral deposits.
Lv20 - Prospect III
Survey the landscape to discern the number and direction of grade 3 deposits. Increases movement speed when deposits are far.
Lv25 - King's Yield
Allows you to gather multiple items in a single yield.
Lv28 - Lay of the land IV
Survey the landscape to locate grade 4 and below mineral deposits.
Lv30 - Beastkin eluder
Temporarily avoid enemy encounters. effective only against beastkin.
Lv30 - Prospect IV
Survey the landscape to discern the number and direction of grade 4 deposits. Increases movement speed when deposits are far.
Lv38 - Lay of the land V
Survey the landscape to locate grade 5 and below mineral deposits.
Lv40 - Prospect V
Survey the landscape to discern the number and direction of grade 5 deposits. Increases movement speed when deposits are far.
Lv48 - Lay of the land VI
Survey the landscape to locate grade 6 and below mineral deposits.
Lv50 - Prospect VI
Survey the landscape to discern the number and direction of grade 6 deposits. Increases movement speed when deposits are far.
Extra abilities (bought or obtained in some way) All are lv 1
Deep Vigor
Temporarily increases your vitality.
Master of rock
Increases your chance to obtain high quality items while gathering.
Menphina's ward
Temporarily increases your chance to obtain ice crystals.
Nald'thal's ward
Temporarily increases your chance to obtain fire crystals.
Solid reason
Temporarily increases your mind.
Stone resolve
Slows the rate at which a gathering location's remainder decreases.
Truth of mountains

So mind and vitality points allocation should help someway when mining..
It's a bit tricky to figure out where to put your points for DoL..
Fishing is easier. Dex for fast and accurate hands and Piety for good luck from fishing Gods :)
