Anyone know the best way to catch these? I've been fishing in C. Hollow for about 30 minutes using various fresh water baits and haven't even caught 1 marimo. I am getting all sorts of other fish though. -3 depth Edited by user Wednesday, May 04, 2011 1:34:12 AM(UTC)

After an hour I only caught 3 marimo, and on the same catch. I've now moved to Mistbeard Cove and have caught 3 within a half hour. Definitely a rare catch even when trying to target it. Crow Fly and Wildfowl Fly have been what has caught them, but no "big hits" with any bait.
Little less boring in Mistbeard since the zone has its own unique music. |

Marimo favors the middle jig. Each time I've reeled it in it has been for the middle. |

I gave up after 1.5 hours and only catching a total of 8. For what it is worth, Mistbeard Cove is grade 5 freshwater with identical fish as C.Hollow. It is much more difficult to fish here than C.Hollow however, even at r50. Edited by user Wednesday, May 04, 2011 1:34:35 AM(UTC)
