God I truly love Sweat of Brow that you get for rank 25 Botany. I know most already know but just in case: Increases your skill pts gained for gathering when it kicks in and it was kicking in a lot when I was fishing in and out of leves. during a botany leve: Sirocco showed up almost on top of me as I finished.  |

Yea I recently got it myself (and at that time tossed away my hatchet, never to be seen again!) Loving the ability when it procs while fishing. |

It also kicked in for me on a leve the other day and I ended up with almost 10,000 sp in less than 5 mins... |

very nice ^ Drar.. you tossed your hatchet? nooo.. lol. I did all this stuff on ffxi. Not really sure why I enjoy chopping trees down and swiping weeds but eh.. I'm sure it has to do with getting away from the same ole same ole with regular jobs. I'm looking forward to this games version of the lu shang and ebisu. Be nice to have something like that in botany. Super Special Allelujah Solid Gold Chopping Hatchet!We're all gonna be past the lvl for AF.. so there goes that pfft. Anyway, I did notice SoBrow lasting a really long time quite often. I'm assuming it's just all random and luck if it kicks in. I do have it as my only fishing/botany ability though. At mid lvl to 50 what if any guild mark items would ya'll suggest obtaining. I'm kind of a completionist but some aren't needed once you lvl higher so those are obvious. Had a Sweat of Brow that lasted for just over 20mins today non stop fishing at the hammerhead spot by cedarwood. Lucky you, 50% of my SoB stops after 1 catch... get's very annoying :/
and about my hatchet... yea that's long gone, hopefully to never be seen again ^.^ |

I think we should try to track our activation rate for SoB after this recent update, or pay attention to how long it stays active for. Feels like its less often, but could just be me.

It's not proc'ing often for me on my miner which I'm leveling now, but I haven't yet got it to 25 which could account for something. Normally I'll get about one proc per leve which was about normal for me before using it on fishing/botany. Until I start grinding mining (around 28 for mythril) I won't have any data on how often it procs from pure grinding. |
