So it was mentioned in a post on the Lodestone forums that they're going to be introducing Grade 6 Dark Matter to repair the level 50 gear that's coming out. I'm wondering if they're going to open up Grade 6 gathering points or if they're going to keep this exclusive to like dungeons or NPC/Company Badges.
It'd be really nice if they'd release the Grade 6 nodes because it'd kind of offset the low amount of SP gained in the later 40s. They could make the quests available at 45, just like they've done for the other leves at the "5" levels. (5, 15, 25, 35)
It'd also give us the opportunity to record some new items, which we haven't been able to do since we found everything the game has to offer. This was one of the things that really drove me to fish because I was kind of competitive with myself to submit as many new fish as I could. |

I didn't know they were doing this but I would assume they are going to upgrade some existing points back to grade 6. I know they said they would implement higher grades again eventually and they have to anyways. It would also be nice if they implement some new fish for those grades and the same for botany and mining. With new updates, gear, synths, etc will come a need for new drops. Sounds like a good time to push grade 6 back into the game. Plus, there are some grades 1-5 right now that were downgraded that are not worth even traveling to for various reasons whether it be the drops/items, danger of mobs along the way or distance. Even with a choc I wouldn't go to certain spots and haven't. They need to be upgraded to make it worthwhile. Edited by user Friday, September 16, 2011 2:25:25 PM(UTC)

Getting some Grade 6 Dark Matter would be great and opening up for Grade 6 resource points would only be logical. Also getting new leves at 45 would mean a lot to the people trying to go to 50. At the moment having nothing but grade 5 to level on is frustrating for the people trying to reach 50.
And yes... it would be awesome to see items with grade 50 - 60 ish. |
