Just wanted to let everyone know that I am going to make a lot of changes to the data of the site. I am planning to get all the items updated with all the new information. Then all resource points will be updated according to the list on the lodestone. Then I will try to take a look at recipes and see if I can make something of it.
I am currently installing the patch as I write (the download is complete) and then I will try to extract the data from the files.
Hope to be able to return with loads of information on the new items soon. |

the more I go through these notes.. I think I need to go change my pants.  So much new info to go over and learn. Thankfully a lot of it is like ffxi though. So the "Dated" items it says:
"The names of items created via old recipes are now preceded by the word "Dated." For example:
Ex:
Old recipe: dated bronze dagger
New recipe: bronze dagger
Items made via new recipes will feature different attributes from their dated counterparts."So basically I should just keep my dated gear/tools until I make the new ones and then I guess just npc the old? Is Dated resellable or pretty much just useless once you upgrade to the new item via new recipe. christ.. basically every single item I have and my retainers are "dated" with a few exceptions. lol.. went into the Market Wards and it's a ghost town in every area today in Ul'dah. >.> my old yew fishing rod was optimal lvl 42 while the new yew rod is now optimal lvl 25 and the Rosewood is 43 with the gilded rosewood rank 48.

Just a fyi in case you log in and don't see the new Stealth abilities. I logged in as Fisher and they were not present and switched to Botanist and they showed up then back to fisher to get my Steath IV. |

was upset about the airship not providing an actual ride for the view or to get to see the inside of the ship and was told today they will be adding the actual ride later. Edited by user Thursday, October 06, 2011 12:46:53 PM(UTC)

additional note: some friends asked me today why they couldn't macro in their weapons, rods, etc and offhand gear like gigs.
Even though you have to change the item name to Dated if that's what you still have you have to put mh (for main hand) or oh (for sub) instead of the terms main or sub.
