I found that you can attain Ossified Matter at -5 Found at (5,12) down on the beach, and (5,11). Tons of aggro mobs nearby so use Stealth IV. Note: Fingerprints of the Gods ability does not seem to activate very often. 2/30 on fishing attempts. Edited by user Wednesday, October 05, 2011 12:45:54 AM(UTC)

thank you for reporting this. Gonna pm Kida to see how he wants to handle any new items being reported at nodes or just fishing in general so we don't have people posting new additions in various forums and threads. |

Check out the news... I am currently making a major overhaul to the database and I am getting all the information straight from the game itself... there will be many new items and everything has had their stats updated... it's a lot of work but I hope to have it ready real soon...
Many new materia... many new fishing rods... they have all been updated with new names and everything so stay tuned... |

Schools of fish as noted in the title! :) Another note, my Fingerprints of the Gods had a better activation rate today -- it activated about 3 times in 20 catches.

I'm not to sure about these things having a sweet spot, have gotten the activation 3 times now, pick the right spot at -1 next time i tried at -1 it wasn't there but i got it at 0, the 3rd time i couldn't find it. This is for mining a the wells.

probably like regular node sweet spots. They were never a given and sometimes you got the item at other spots (-1, -2, etc) Might be a little glitchy too right now. I keep reading -5 for sweet spots. I found the regular sweet spots to be inconsistent so we'll see for these. |

Although on BTN I just got 2 germinated matter at -3 and it told me the sweet spot was higher.

As a personal observation, I'm getting at least one proc of Fingerprint of the Gods per fishing school that I'm doing with it being the only gathering ability I have set. I've seen it a max of two times. With my current gear and at level 50 I get about 9 attempts at Grade 5 schools. |
